PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Cossipore, which has emerged as a temple of education, was inaugurated on 5th September, 1983, on Teacher's Day, at a place surrounded by trees and nvironment, in the residential complex of the Gun and Shell Factory, surrounded with Seven Tanks.
